Throughout our time spent in Cyprus we have carried out numerous snagging exercises in all types of property. We work to a set list of criteria and are fastidious in our examination of any property that we are asked to inspect. We carry out a rigorous check of all aspects of a property including all building work, fixtures and fittings, appliances and general finish. The water holding ability of sinks, showers, baths and the non-leakage of the corresponding pipe work. We look at floor tiling for damage and a uniform finish, kitchen tiles, work surfaces, test electrical equipment and for unsatisfactory finishes in carpentry. If your property is an apartment we will also report on the complex and communal areas.
Many new owners overlook this important aspect when accepting possession of their new villa or apartment and those who do have a brief visit with their developer often miss issues that we would find as a matter of course. If you intend to rent your property to clients or family a snagging issue may be missed and overlooked as a consequence of general wear and tear once the property is being used.
